I am completing my honours thesis at the University of Newcastle. Under the supervision of Dr Linda Campbell, I am investigating the experiences and needs of parents of children with a 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome (22Q11.2DS) diagnosis. We aim to use the findings from this project to inform both future research and the development of supports for families effected by 22Q11.2DS.
My areas of interest include developmental, biological, and behavioural psychology. I am working towards clinical registration and am currently employed as a mental health worker. In my role I provide day to day support for persons with various diagnoses such as schizophrenia, addictions, developmental delay, and acquired brain injuries.
