Are you pregnant? Have you recently undergone prenatal screening?
Researchers at the University of Newcastle are interested in investigating pregnant women's experiences of prenatal screening (combined first trimester screening
or non-invasive prenatal testing/screening). Specifically, we are interested in women's decision making, informed choice, counselling satisfaction and psychological well-being following prenatal screening. We hope that this study
will inform future health policies regarding the treatment and care of pregnant women, and the provision of information and counselling for prenatal screening
in Australia.
Women over the age of 18 who have recently been offered prenatal screening
in Australia are invited to participate in this study. The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. You will be asked to provide some demographic information and complete an anonymous online survey. This survey is completely voluntary - if you do not wish to answer a particular question, you can skip to the next question, and can withdraw at any time.
